EDYN HQ is thrilled to open a call for applications for a four-day study trip to Brussels in partnership with NATO.
All expenses (airfare, accommodation, and meals) will be covered.
The program will bring together ten female EDYN members from NATO countries who specialize in security, women’s advocacy, international and EU affairs, and/or tech and AI.
Through engagements with representatives and thought-leaders from NATO, European institutions and the private sector, the sessions will focus on foreign malign influence, disinformation and the continent’s democratic backsliding, with an eye to how these phenomena intersect with social media platforms, AI, and gender-based hate speech.
The trip will provide a unique opportunity for young women’s capacity-building, networking, practice-sharing, and leadership development.
Participants will also have the opportunity to hear perspectives from the private sector and learn how tech platforms address these issues to ensure a resilient and safe digital space, especially for youth and women.
