Are you eager to enhance your project management skills? Do you aspire to lead successful projects from inception to completion? If so, seize this opportunity and apply for the Project Management Training Workshop organized by EDYN HQ.

Date: 27-30 May, 2024

Location: Ulcinj, Montenegro 

Application deadline: Monday, April 15, 23:59 (CET)

The Project Management Workshop is designed for EDYN members who wish to gain comprehensive insights into effectively managing projects. The need for project management skills was raised on numerous occasions by EDYN members, who implement or intend to implement member-driven projects or projects funded through external sources. 

The workshop will focus on developing project management skills in the context of managing all the phases of the project cycle, including project initiation, project planning, execution, project monitoring and controlling, and project closing. The workshop will combine informative lectures with hands-on practical sessions, covering the most important aspects of the following topics:

  • A structured way to create, execute, and finish a project.
  • Clear phases, milestones, and deliverables
  • Better communication among stakeholders
  • Risk management
  • Quality control

Participant profile:

Participants of the training are expected to:

  • Currently work in project management roles or aspire to do so
  • Have implemented grants or plan to apply for grants in the future
  • Engage in developing their country chapters and implement projects within the EDYN network
  • Possess some previous experience with project management

Financial and practical conditions of participation 

The training is organized by EDYN HQ and will take place in Ulcinj, Montenegro, with the support of the NDI Montenegro office. Participants are expected to arrive on 27 May and depart on 30 May 2024. Travel expenses, boarding, and lodging will be covered by the EDYN HQ. The working language of the training will be English.

Application and selection of participants

Candidates must apply by submitting their CV and a motivation letter (detailing their interest in the training, relevant experience, skills, and how the training will contribute to their personal and professional growth).

The selection committee, comprising EDYN HQ and LC representatives, will select up to 15 participants based on the outlined criteria. Additionally, we strive to prioritize the network’s needs while also ensuring diversity across gender, geography, member affiliation, and cultural backgrounds.
