Call For Applications: EDYN workshop on the future of democracy in Bratislava, Slovakia Opportunities

Published March 5, 2025

EDYN is thrilled to announce an open call for a scenario co-creation workflow workshop on the future of democracy in Europe. The future of democracy starts with you—join us in shaping it!

This creative foresight workshop, organised by EDYN HQ, is part of a larger research project funded by the European Union called YouthDecide 2040 to identify the desirable future(s) of democracy in Europe and the policymaking pathways to achieve them. We are one of the 11 organisations that will work on this project between 2025 and 2027 and are excited to bring the first of many activities for our members through our partnership with the EU.

We will select 8-10 EDYN members who will join a diverse group of 20 activists, innovative thinkers, researchers, creatives, practitioners, and forward-looking experts who are passionate about democratic innovations, creative policymaking, social innovation and societal challenges.

All expenses (airfare, accommodation, travel to and from the airport and meals) will be covered.

The workshop will be led by policy scenario planning experts from Strategic Design Scenarios and the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, who will lead participants to provide diverse perspectives on their insights on possible futures of democratic practices and institutions in Europe.
